Keep my wife well and happy oh God
Get her rid of all sufferings and odds
Allow her a normal life, at ease, to dwell
Make her manage herself on her own well

Oh God, you know, she worships You
As per her cultural and religious view
She is a very innocent and honest soul
Why do You then give pains in her dole

She is sympathetic, loving, and careful,
Of many artistic skills, she is resourceful
She does well in her duties and chores
Oh God! take her out of the evil force

Fasting is a common practice of hers
As the religious vows to son favors
Mother's self-sacrifice and affection
Ever all these things; knows her son?

I pray to God for her well-being and fit
Be kind and bless her, to favorably treat
Give her Oh God! Words for expression
To clear out her mental and physical pain
