Precious Memories Of Dad - Poem by Marilyn Lott

Oh how the precious memories
Filter though my mind
As Father’s Day comes again
Wonderful thoughts of Dad I find

Dad teaching Sunday school
While my sister’s music rings
Peacefulness fills my mind
Such warmth in my heart it brings

Dad at Christmas time
As the presents were passed out
Sharing the story of Jesus
And what Christmas is all about

My family in church praying
My brother passing ‘round the plate
Afterward Mom’s delicious dinner
Family visiting as we ate

Ah yes, Father’s Day brings
Some thoughts that might be sad
But mostly precious memories
About my special dad!
