Predator Stalks Prey Poem by DM W

Predator Stalks Prey

Rating: 5.0

Predator stalks prey
As the angels depart.
All this vibrant beauty,
That's lasted the ages,
Is now being torn apart.
Pyramids are being defiled
And then set on fire.
The blood of summer
Has congealed. And there
Is no sign of healing rain.

Yes, its a mess out there and also day by day, hour by hour. Too many power hungry fruitcakes propped up by the uneducated and unenlightened. We just wait in the wings holding on to hope. A full score and thank you Dominic for telling how it is, but will it ever be...time will tell. For with hope and time things change eventually and for the better.

Thanks Deluke..you're right, it is a rather depressing state of affairs, perhaps things will change for the better..who knows? ! However, unfortunately, I doubt it will be in my lifetime.

Nice poem. The world is turning topsy turvy due to lack of leadership and extremism
