Prefer The Journey Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I shall prefer journey
That has been blessed by almighty
Destined and decided well in advance before
Why to worry about it therefore?

Blacks, whites all may alight
Much to my happiness and delight
Their heart heats may speak with one voice
We are all human and have life full of promises

Someone from crowd then started
“Allah is one” shouted and departed
“Christ is only savior” murmured and then deserted
I had no special affinity so simply stayed

I wanted them only to realize
That love is the only option and we got to oblige
We stand no chance and may get lost
We got to protect our races at any cost

People started returning
In good numbers and turning
With smiles some years later
As they were all labeled as haters?

Peace was eluding
There was some secret funding
Bitterness was created and felt deep routed
All humanity norms were flouted

Who may rule the world on debris?
There won’t be left any thing after crisis
We shall excavate remains for identity in civilization
That may be blurred with facts and in fact with no relation

We are on earth planet with some mission
Let everybody explain it with some confession
Are we doing any humanitarian service to the world?
Of course not as our conscience has turned blind and sold

Millions watch us with hope
If we pledge them not to rob
Take full opportunity to grant pleasure
Smile on their face with happiness as treasure
