Premeditation Mode Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Premeditation Mode

Seldom.
If at all.
Has time returned,
To give anyone...
An opportunity to undo,
The paying of consequences.
For swift and sudden...
Thoughtless impulsive actions,
They make.
To take a direction.
Found false.
Yet...
To find themselves stuck.
Incapable to move themselves,
From premeditation mode.
To later excuse to place blame,
On others for their rush...
To satisfy unwarranted,
Punishment for accusations...
Alleged.
Based upon suspicion.
Descriptions to depict them.
The time of day and weather.
Heard through rumors.
Many rely upon to predict,
Outcomes never to happen.
