Presence Of Wind Blowing Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Presence Of Wind Blowing

Sitting here next to a picture window writing, listening
to music, glancing out the window to see the presence of
wind blowing.

Flowing its way through leaves, branches, bushes, flowers
and grass, making its presence known to this mere poet
sitting and watching its antics.

All the while leaves blowing freely, up, down and sideways,
suddenly reminding this mind, imaging it with thoughts of
the ocean as it rises and falls.

Minus only salt water rushing to shore, a quiet resemblance
etching its way into intellect, wanting to be written into
this little poem for you to read.
