Price Of Love Poem by Paul Sebastian

Price Of Love

Rating: 4.5

Emotions fleeting
Freely confessing
Love questioning
Dreams vanquishing
Faith weakening
Trust dissipating
Relationship lapsing
Illusions, day-dreaming

To love is to be free
To love is to set it free
Love is not selfish
Nor is it boorish
Love is not possessive
Nor is it calculative
Love is honed
Love is grown
It is other-centred
Not self-centred
Love is sacrifice
For it has a price

Love and set it free
If it's yours it will return
If it is not, it never will

The most sublime act of sacrifice, comes naturally - when love is in the core of your being! Kudos Paul!
