Prince John Poem by Ima Ryma

Prince John

Oprah's first and last interview
With John F. Kennedy, Jr.
Was at the time a T.V. coup.
He was a prize to catch for sure.
John sat in Oprah's brand new set,
In a fancy new linen chair,
Where the handsome body did get
Covered with lint while he sat there.
They talked of past and future things,
Of memories of family,
The ups and downs while on the wings
Of flight into his destiny.

The life and death of Prince John boy,
Images of sadness and joy.
