Prisoner Of The Sky - Poem by Meghan

the sun is a prisoner of the most vast cell of all
captured and enslaved within the realm of sky
he hides his face behind the clouds in
sadness and misery
he weeps for the freedom he no longer knows
he has hovered in the sky for Milennia
loyal, by no choice, to our sheer enjoyment
selfish shameless bastards, we relish in his suffering
