Problem Solver Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Problem Solver

In the middle of the day
when all that is calm and steady
turns into a target for disarray
Enough with the clamor already

Take a deep breath...while I sigh
Time for stability; it is of the essence
Let me think as I stop and ask why...
Why is turbulence seeking my presence

It was my intention to remain sane...
I already have an ample amount of tasks
This is certainly a stress test…it is plain
I must maintain a composure that lasts

It is simple, all I have to do
is cure the problems that arise
Excuse me for just a moment or two
as I find the strength to help them realize

I must encourage a resolution somehow
They are capable of finding a solution
Analyze the situation and apply knowhow
Resolve the problem without noise pollution

I’ll just take a time out and disappear...
Seek a peaceful settlement after I disconnect
I am sure that the crisis won’t be as severe
You can coexist… think fairly with respect
