Promises Of God Poem by Luke Easter

Promises Of God

The Promises of God are for real,
As solid as case hardened steel,
So why doesn’t everyone receive?
Not all who hear & read the Word believe.

You may not realize this but,
There are some things God cannot do,
He can’t lie, steal, cheat or deceive,
God only speaks what’s pure & true.

Why does it seem so long we have to wait?
Relax, it's nothing more than a test of faith,
Take about 30 minutes read some good news,
Educate yourself with the book of Hebrews.

Even the only begotten Son,
Had to drink from His cup,
Don’t let trials and tribulations,
Have you get Satan and God mixed up.

Only in the middle of a storm,
Will God know whom He can trust,
To be given a position of authority in The Kingdom,
When you're released from the graveyard of dust.

You can’t believe in God and worry too,
Otherwise, promises of the word won’t happen for you,
Many minds and hearts hearts are hardened by unbelief,
While their souls are smothered and burdened with grief.

It is so undeniably true what has just been said,
God is our fortress as with Moses He led,
A just God, whose glory forever shines bright,
Souls from darkness through wondrous might.

Yes, the Holy Spirit woos them with Godly love,
Caressing genuinely, sincerely, ministering to all because,
The promises of God are only received by faith,
Stand on the word, not how long you have to wait.
