Protectoral Palm... Poem by Dorothy Kardas, Psy.D. Th.D.

Protectoral Palm...

Rating: 5.0

(For the unborn victims...)

sins of commission
sins of omission
as grains of sands...
fearing to take stands?
yet drops of blood
soaking all lands!

can't hear the wailing
and most are failing
not grieving...
not caring
for their lot...
failing to act
failing in duty
the only God...

piercing sobs
deafened by cruel mobs!
so endless wailing
yet most are failing
unfeeling
unmoved
by their woeful lot...

sins of commission
sins of omission
each one shall answer
for their blood
the torrential
horrifying flood!

who is my mother?
where is my father?
to whom I belong?
weeping too long...
resounding sobs
stifled by steely-eyed mobs!

blood is my lot?
tears mixing with blood...
through tears...
through blood...
I do see my God!

A most fitting tribute to the UNBORN VICTIMS... Abortion is REAL TORCHURE ending in the most painful gruesome death any human being could imagine. Thank you for so vividly and candidly portaying their plight through your poetic works, and standing up for the billions who have died because of the lack of love and concern of human beings who only think of their own selfish needs and wants. Thank you, keep up your protective stance for our future generations!

Penned with stentorian voice...summoning a culmination of penitence, repentance, contrition, and remorse. God bless.

Another tugging at my heartstrings poem against the horrific evil of abortion. Not only I CANNOT understand the workings of the mind of those who perpetrate those atrocious crimes, but also those who remain indifferent and do absolutely nothing to stop this unthinkable crime. What is it about 'thou shalt not kill' don't they understand? There are no 'small murders! ' They are all equally guilty! Thank you... Love, Mary

Brilliantly mastered message in verse from the side of the voiceless, defenseless, unborn victims of the cruelest most gruesome murder. Science now tells us how much the tiny babes in the womb suffer pain from the very onset of their existence. Only God, their Creator can comfort their pain...yes, physical and emotional pain from being rejected by their earthly parents. Thank you for you tireless efforts to support Life. The Bodines

Dear Dr. Kardas, Thank God for you and your words of wisdom! We can always count on you to say what 'we' have on our minds, but may be inadequate to express. This particular poem is such a greatly needed reminder to ALL that we are sometimes committing the greatest sins by our lack of concern, especially indiffernece to the plight of the aborted unborn children. We agree, if we fail to take action to protect our precious unborn babies, then we too are guilty in the eyes of our God. It's so easy to just sit back and say, 'Well, I wouldn't do such a thing', 'It's their sin, not mine', 'Oh, well, so what can we do? ', 'It's OK, that's not my child, sister, brother, grandchild! '... Your poem ends so beautifully, and I've cried many times reading it. Thank you again for sharing God's Sacred Truth. Laurra, family, and friends.
