foolish is the research scientist
with a mind filled with research data
who is used to speaking in compound
and complex sentences precise plus
a few simple sentences for emphasis
trying to explain data on dairy waste
on farmland fertilizer nitrate levels
to a protester who cries in monosyllabic slabs

screams cow shit on the mind slogans;
a protester never realizing that milk
butter cheese are all gifts from cows
a protester never realizing that crops
grain fruit vegetables require fertilizer
nitrates to harvest grow healthy;
