Are you a figment of my imagination?
Did I dream of you one night?
Or, did you contact me,
One day, when it was daylight?

So, prove you really want me,
Prove that you are there,
Prove you are coming to see me,
And that you really care.

How can I be certain
That you are real to me,
And that I will see you
And a lover to me you will be.

I do not want another disappointment,
Two already have I had,
Another will not help my spirits,
Another for me will be bad.

So please reply to me dear,
Confirm that you are real,
Let my Life continue,
Your Love will my Life seal.
