A word so deep into the maelstrom, of conclusions
Unsought in the chaos of the increasing, obligations
Of the life and its surroundings, played by everyone
Resting my head back to fall, into sleep so undone
As another day concludes, its fading light resides
To reveal the darkness, of resting eyes now confides
That a perfect peace can be foundered, in anarchy
When a hearing dims and the body commits gravity
A weakened body that has found rest, at last again
Long since the mind found clean, the thinking grain
Setting my ship to sail, in warm seas and moonlight
As the soul is silent, untouched in a peaceful night
Ringing of the ears, hushed and consciousness lost
Fallen deeper toward, the nothingness of this cost
To be unawares of true rest and healing so, inside
A need seed germinates to flower, upon daily tide
Much flashes before the eyes, by this awoken mind
Of logical and imagination, combines to be behind
What is possible and what we, can say as why not?
To fly and leave this ground, whilst memories rot
Or walk bare footed onto the sands, of somewhere
That taste of salt on lips, so was I really ever there?
And who was the stranger, in my dreams last night
Who gave me the answer, to all that was my plight
The one I had been seeking, until these small hours
When the brightest ideas became, opened flowers
And pollinated a sanctuary, of peaceful anomalies
To grow again once more as this; a new day rises
