Purity Of Old Times Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Purity Of Old Times

No sooner
The lights're on
The poor moon
Loses its shine
Stars in the sky vanish
In the background.

Flow of pure
Water in the stream
Keeps on diminishing
With advance of time
Water holes seem
To appear no more.

Noise of all
Moving vehicles
Turns life on earth
Into hell at times
Making it difficult
To face their rush.

World becomes
Warmer and warmer
Day by day and
Year after year
Nature in several ways
Shows its dreadful side.

Life goes on
Simply concluding
Changes're imminent
Inner soul murmurs
Repeatedly asking
For purity of old times.
