Pushing Time To It's Limits Poem by Rick Adriolo

Pushing Time To It's Limits

If I wielded the power to keep those near, whom I don't want to have anywhere but here..
Memory slips as moments fade as shades disappear when hit by light..
Pictures cripple as waters ripple as the sun disappears when pushed by night..
If I had the right words to hold everything together, I'd speak out loud trying to make things better..
Time goes by as rivers flow as dreams disappear when touched by light..
Life decays as youth grows old as day disappears when shoved by night..
If I had a gift that could heal, no one will ever know again how losing someone can feel..
