Quench My Thirst Poem by Justin Williams

Quench My Thirst

My pressure rises,

My desire bleeds.

There’s no disguising,

What my body needs.

The train keeps moving,

Starving my thirst.

But I want soothing,

I need to burst.

Kiss me, tease me,

Take everything I am,

I wanna breathe easy,

But for me to understand,

You can take me, break me,

But give me one thing first.

Touch me, Clutch me,

Come and quench my thirst.

Your oblivious eyes

Call over to me,

But my disguise

Hides what they see.

I wanna kiss and taste your skin,

My thoughts clear as they corrupt,

The lava burns me deep within.

I want you near as I erupt.

Kiss me, tease me,

Take everything I am,

I wanna breathe easy,

But for me to understand,

You can take me, break me,

But give me one thing first.

Touch me, Clutch me,

Come and quench my thirst.

The train slows and I will never know,

I look my last as I turn and go.

My eyes say goodbye ended is our time,

It hurts why you can’t be mine.

Kiss me, tease me,

Take everything I am,

I wanna breathe easy,

But for you to understand,

You can blame me, shame me,

For being wrongfully cursed.

But I’ve tried and I can’t tame me

So come and quench my thirst.
