Bird Of Prey Poem by Justin Williams

Bird Of Prey

If I was a bird of prey,

Would I still be gay

As I soar across the sky?

I often like to think,

Would I still like pink

If I'm a lion hunting at night?

If I was a polar bear

Would I still dye my hair

In shades of blue and blonde and red?

A leopard about to prance,

But would I still like to dance

With a glitter ball above my head?

I'm just allot like you,

I do the things you do,

But I like to drink in neon bars.

I don't know why you think

That my multicoloured drink

Means I must come from Mars.

But I'm not a bird of prey,

And yes I might be gay,

But I can still see clearly.

If you come and talk to me,

Then you might see,

I'm not that bad really.
