Questions? Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Why do I think poetically,
In verse with scans and rhymes?
As questions daily bombard my brain,
And form in verses and lines.

This daily occurrence happens
As I drive along in my car,
It does not matter where I am,
Or whether I travel near or far.

Many are the questions,
What answers can I find?
But the one for which I cannot find,
Is the one that’s constantly in my Mind.

“Why do I write Poetry? ”
Is the one that surpasses all,
When I find the answer to this one,
My poetical work will be finally done.
