Questions And Answers Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Questions And Answers

When the storm comes,
and the ground beneath you shakes,
will you stand tall, rooted,
though nothing feels certain?
When the world turns its back,
will you still walk forward,
unafraid to carry your own shadow?

If others falter, will you extend your hand,
even when you have little left to give?
If the road splits, will you choose the harder path?
not for glory, but because it feels right?

When silence answers your questions,
will you lean into its wisdom and wait?
When mistakes rise to greet you,
will you face them with grace,
and begin again?

If you lose everything,
will you remember that who you are
is not what you own?
If succes finds you,
will you wear it lightly, knowing it too will pass?

When the moment calls for courage,
will you step forward,
though your knees may tremble?
When life asks you to grow,
will you let go of who you were
to become who you must be?

And when the time comes to rest,
will you look back
not at what you've achieved,
but at how you've lived-fully, honestly,
with an open heart and steady soul?
