What is it that I am trying to say?
What are the faithful words of today?
How do I express the way I feel?
And how does a broken heart heal?

Why is life so hard to live?
Why is love so easy to give?
And why does it hurt when love is lost?
Why must I always pay the cost?

When will I ever love and win?
When will my life start again?
When will I see the moon so bright?
And when will love take me into the light?

Where is the love that I have always sought?
Where can I reach out and get caught?
Where is the life that is waiting for me?
And where is the happiness that you all see?
