Quicker Than An Eye Can Blink Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Quicker Than An Eye Can Blink

The most important lessons to learn,
Many believe...
They are above them being taught to teach.
And for the ones with this misconception,
To accept themselves exceptions...
Come to realize it too late,
That a having disrespect for what God creates...
Is for them an unforgiving,
Mistake not to appreciate...
Humanity to have first is a needed requirement,
For everyone to achieve this lesson to pass it.
Or that 'Golden Rule' believed easy to ignore,
Will eventually leave them on their knees...
Pleading for their lives to live repeated.
Understanding too late,
God is the teacher they should never attempt...
To deceive consciously.
Since it is God who gives.
And takes away.
Quicker than an eye can blink or a lie to tell!
