Quid Pro Quo - Poem by Jazlle D. H.

for emalyn

Go and leave
the rain on my eyes
let it pour 'til the sun shines.

Go and leave
the splinter in my heart
let the heart bleed 'til it dries.

Go and leave
the emblem of love with me
let it be the prize of our story.

Beautiful imagery Jazlle. The splinter and the rain need to remain until things are worked through,
Your last stanza is excellent. 10 love Karin
