Quidproquo Poem by Joseph Dela Sulh (losembe)

Quidproquo

Words ought to be said louder:
Obviously to avoid quidproquo.
Only words can do this better.

I was thoughtfuly writing down a story.
When all of a sudden a flag stuck up.
Just like trees do, I was stuck too.
Why? : To admire the cloth immobile.
Beautiful, and teinted with legal words.
Each and every being stood up upright.
Staring at these written words on it:
«  No more painful bullying in prisons  »
And «  No more hunger  »_1st pain of all.
When skimming the texts, I got nothing.
No words seemed to bear any meaning.
After the second reading, I had a headache.
Be advised that I wasn't alone reading.
There were a swarm of readers too.
All debating in groups of four or five.
All the debators been in the same hive.
Me, at the same time, dropped my pen.
And gave way my tongue 👅 to cat 🐈.
I was just admiring the contemplation.
However, being performed big quidproquo.
All united to be wrong to serve wrongness.
Seeing the ambiguity of the texts or words:

«  No more…  » was wrongly to me deficient
And «  No more …  »... self-sufficient!
I still can't get the confusion in the poem
There's no quidproquo at all in English.
Void of quidproquo is here a quidproquo!
