Quiet Sense Of Humor Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Quiet Sense Of Humor

Waltzing to rock and roll music just for the fun of it,
looking through a quiet sense of humor to entertain self,
jumping from boulders to get down from the top.

An interior mountain that insists upon scraping the sky,
wanting to capture clouds as they drift in and out of an
interior environment, circling and looking about.

Focusing on the arid desert as it unfolds in depths of
precious melodies, taking every ounce of pleasure into
a colorful sound that tastes just like root beer.

Finding steps quickening throughout this night, enjoying
rhythms because they count themselves into measures of
every song, delectably teasing this poetical soul's spirit.
