Quietly I Sit Alone Poem by Paul Warren

Quietly I Sit Alone

Rating: 5.0

Quietly I sit alone
Thinking of all the things I've known
I like the laughter and the smiles
That cheered me in the hard won miles

For life is a series of hard climbs
With a welcome ledge to salve and bind
Once and while look at the view
For each of us needs to contemplate what next to do

See what will lay ahead
And the times that are now ended instead
For life will not always go as planned
The good the bad will be remembered at your command.
