Race Of Rain Poem by Suman Kumar Das

Race Of Rain

Rating: 3.8

Many a drops of rain
Add to form a fountain,
Flowing ahead to prove
That none can stop its move.
May come the drying sun,
Fearing forest and rocky stone
On the way of hilly zone.

Now the break-less brook
With enthusiastic lively look,
Spreading selfless shape
To bridge manly ego-gap,
Buzzing anthem of the nature,
Pours into a running river
Longer, wider and faster.

Again runs the river
Towards saintly sea water,
As looks human soul
For heavenly super-soul,
To get salvation
From worldly affection
And sinful emotion.

Fail my eyes to watch
Where goes the sea to catch,
Endless sky-kissing horizon
Whose silhouette is unknown.
So daring the race of rain!
From few drops to ocean.
That can’t my brain learn.
