Radiance - Poem by Sierra Pepper
This Key is Mine
It's very important to me, to everything I hold dear right now
I wear it 'round my neck, close to my heart, and there it shall stay
because my heart is what the key unlocks...
My heart... It's very old, scarred, torn & beaten
It's been ruined & spit on, drawn & quartered...
That is why this key is mine and only mine
I won't stand to be ruined
This key is my symbol, it's my rock
It's a small piece of comfort and silent support wrapped with shining silver hope
And it shall only be given to the one whom this being belongs to in the end
