Rain - Poem by Thomas Conner

As I stand on my car
Soaking wet from the rain
I’m coughing
I could get sick
Do you care?
Because all you
Did was
Walk away from
Without noticing
The tears rolling down
My face
The razor blades
With fresh
And my wrist and hands
Drenched with blood
And me
Looking at the sky
Asking why?
Why this fate?
