Rain, Coffee, And You Poem by Sam Sam

Rain, Coffee, And You

Rating: 5.0

In the showers of rain
Every effort was in vain
I had to do some magic
to reduce shrieks of my pain

I, thereby, sat on my chair
Pulled you out of my heart
And on my front chair, I placed
Glasses were the same, and veil covering your face

Before did the conversation commence
I, unintentionally, built up your suspense
I was forbid to announce my views
Thus I wrapped them inside some clues

I seemed to be a stranger for you
You weren't aware of my actual name
And for me, let me explain
You are a dreamy fairy tale

You were confused with a question in your hypnotic eyes
"Do I know you? "
"Probably", I stirred my coffee
Negotiating the spoon were you

Your name was the last one
I had to give before the time ends
So I took a deck of cards
Placed on the table, four of diamonds

Now please don't ask me who I am
The person enlightened with your love, I am
I have no intention to start, for you, an obnoxious gossip
Just let me read you more, and write what's for me, sane!

For the time being, I think it'd be better to conceal it than to manifest... I hope members won't mind that either.
