Rain Wind Trees (Three) - Poem by Shannon Thompson

rain that falls
makes no sound
unless it hits something

people that love
make no impression
unless they are loved back
_____________________

wind is
blind
but so are
hearts
they look to
find
like playing
darts
_____________________

trees are
only as tall as
the sky
if you can't
climb the tallest
love is
only as deep as
the ocean
if you can
breathe underwater

Absolutely breathtaking. Out of 10, I'd give it a 20.
    Beautiful.
