Rainbow Lover - Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

My rainbow lover where are you?
For the proverbs of your love had stolen my nakedness;
And i need you back beside me.

Everyone falls in love sometimes,
And i've got a special message for you;
For your Mama will not cry on this love.

Ebony eyes,
You are the jewel of the Nile!
For i am around the world with you alone in my mind,
But try to love me for what i am.

Live and learn and love for the peace of your mind,
For your Mama will not cry on this love;
Oh my rainbow lover! ! !

You are my sunshine on this love,
And i do have more dreams to share with you;
Because you are the only one that i love.
