The Paramahamsa
was terminally ill,
the pain from cancer
was indescribable,
but he had grown
beyond all pains.
He said,
I see my body as a frame
made of bamboo strips.
The Indivisible Satchidananda
I see inside me and outside,
it has merely assumed
this sheath, that is my body
for a support.
When my mind is united with God
the suffering of the body is left aside,
the Indivisible Satchidananda
I perceive, is covered with skin,
and this sore in the throat
is on one side of it.
