Rappelling Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Rappelling

Rappelling

In times I feel Scott
‘Vertigo of Hitchcock'

Strange is for me
I rappelled proudly
With injured on shoulder!

Even once Shah saw us
Happy of his army
Turned to the General:
'Do they tell their parents? '

As I learned and it is
In backward countries
General lied and said:
'Of course His Majesty! '

Lie lasted for longer:
'The parents watch TV! '

Wanted to but could not
Say something get involved:
'My parents hate TV; never see! '

Could also mention that:
'They will die if know this! '

But I learned how it goes
Lie is the foundation
For system and nation!

Now old and like Scott
Feel fear of the height
But still love to fall
Only if death's prompt
My dying saves the kids
‘The abused and with no safety! '
'Gut feeling' says: 'Stop! '
I am at T-cross
Of conscious and reason
Badly lost...
