Rapunzel Poem by Mary Angela Douglas

Rapunzel

leaning from the tower this time
she would not be disappointed

her hair, brightening like the

sun of all suns in space;
the space around her

intensified

even from Heaven,

preoccupied with so much,
(God)

could not fail to see:

her shining ladder
