the taxi driver practically
robbed us with the way he demanded
that we pay him 300,000 vnd (vietnamese dong)
for an 800-meter ride

we did not say anything as this is his
country anyway and we are simply guests.

i still have 23 million dong in my pocket
and so there is nothing fatal done
to our much needed vacation.

that night we had a nice sleep and
a very nice dream too which i cannot
anymore remember.
