Rave Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Rave

I
My
soul
mirrors
me upon
those walls
of terror, pain
and dark thoughts
from self-projections…
Starlight's energy in paradox
breath challenging, fluorescent
and transparent…
upon those walls
diaphanous and
diffusible, an intriguing
breath through andragogy, an
intensity in the projection of warmth
in every pain and dark terror; those walls
of time above misery; creatures of the serpent
cornered, powerful, and poisonous; storming but
forgotten from angers rooted and spinning around
an oiled omission, within that ethereal body known…
In reckless patience, my voiced refrain now humming
commits with disorder, my own confusion; unlocked
cold, distant, hungering high for that rebirth, which
is held within the gold of the subconscious mind…
Prepared in all life's lessons taught, becoming of
all wisdom's deep within protected memories
true towards what it is that is meant to be
the nexus, one against the frightening
beast, of the inhumane reality we…
Sink into a grounded, forming
deep abstinence please!
Within your minds
quickly, please
release the
disease…
within
me
I
