Ray Of Hope! Poem by Khushbeen Kaur

Ray Of Hope!

Rating: 5.0

A silent ray of hope appeared
Far across the ocean
Or just a lust
because it is too early to trust

trust, as it has always been mistreated
taken for granted and cheated
by those who wanted to play
to feel the emotion without returning the pay

Impatient I will always be
As hard as I try
Leaving on time to heal
Or should I still stand by?

Hello my friend, long time since we talked...your poem A ray Of Hope be it silent, or spoke out loud, still it exists after the the present or in future just where you[we] need to be... thanks for writing this poem for me-for me you may ask...I've dreaded April 26, like the plague! I'll will step into the octogenarian decade the 26th and fearing to take that step, not knowing how or where it'll take me. So be it a lover in the distance of hope, or any things else, it is to embrace one possibility after another, and life for what it is in the moment, knowing there will always be hope or possibilities...In saying all this, I'm celebrating as if it my last birthday...I hope you celebrate with me too...

wistful lines steeped in an existential dilemma... so often voiced here and and on so many sites. A very basic but pertinent question, i doubt if anyone has an answer to that. but hope should always be allowed to keep a foot in the door... :) nice liked

To maintain ''Hope'' is to embrace and be empowered by the virtuous element of ''Positive Thinking''...Keep that pen pumping ~FjR~
