Life is like a lotus
Double sided blade
Keeps you on the edge
Day after day

Night after night
Resolve to fight
Reality's hold
Before you grow old

To live long as possible
Downright unstoppable
In the face of many
Come out with plenty

But that's usually not the case
Get dropped on their face
Many don't make it
Sad and mistaken

Down spiral
This things going viral
No remakes
No second takes

This is the truth
The world battles you
Like Scott with his bass
Soon you'll kno ur place

Leading or following
Shouting or hollering
What's ur game
Try and make ur name

Never easy
Never sly
Try as you may
You'll start to cry

From all the stress and the mess
That life will bring
But you always got a shot
To do anything

Maybe one day
We can all come together
Ameliorate
It means to get better

A message out there
Letting you know I care
Life maybe hard
But we can make it
