Ready Aim Fire Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Ready Aim Fire

maybe it is time to change
and stop caring too much.
Just leave it all behind
and forget about your touch.

I was fooled by your charm
and blinded by your lies.
Even though I was warned
it still was a surprise.

How do you sleep at night?
With all the hearts you stole.
Broken pieces floating in the night.
Dark and twisted like your soul.

But I refuse to let you win
I will not be defeated.
In this sinful game
there are many ways to be cheated.

My hope is that one
you will feel the same pain.
Ready aim fire
like a bullet straight through your brain.
