Reality Poem by Holly Robinson

Reality

Life is confusing,
It's way too hard.
It seems like I'm always making mistakes.
I wish I could be free,
My emotions are always in the way.
I want to be happy,
Don't want obligations or regrets.

Care too much, you'll just get hurt.
Think too much, your mind gets clouded.
Want too much, you'll loose sight of the present.
Love too much, your heart will get broken.

Reality is difficult, people are complicated.
Life is an unsolvable puzzle and love is such a cruel lesson, but one everyone should learn.

We keep learning, working, playing, moving forward, but never fully knowing why.
But inside we all realize, how lucky we are to simply be alive.
