The Jump Poem by Holly Robinson

The Jump

The world is unfolded beneath me,
I can see everything.
The path ahead is calling,
it's waiting for me to grasp my future.

I pause and look around.
This is the conclusion to my story.
I'm scared to let go of my past,
but there is nothing for me there.

I finally gather my courage and say goodbye.
Goodbye to the world I knew,
the person I was.
I let go, and am no more.
