Reality Triumphed Poem by Paul Sebastian

Reality Triumphed

Entrapped in dark emptiness
Heart searched, in restlessness
Groping in dark, unaided
To touch and be touched:
To love,
Be loved.

Searched, longed…
This love, forlorn
To regain
But in vain,
Clasped to nothing
Blindly groping
Illusions entrapped me
Waking reality set me free
Spirit within convicted me.

Spirit counseled
Enlightened
Strengthened
Comforted
I recovered
Reality triumphed
