I wrote a poem about her blue eyes
And how the soul they hypnotize,
And how into them I longed to gaze
Not for hours, but for days.
Her eyes they are captivating
Decades for her I have been waiting,
Then liken an unanswered prayer
Into her eyes I then longed to stare.
Her hair is the color of the moon
That always glows in late June,
And with its beauty and fragrant scent
I could swear to me it was God sent.
Her hair dances in the breeze
My soul it does uncontrollably seize,
And when I see the beautiful color of the sky
I then see her hair and eyes.
I have traveled the world many times
And I have written many rhymes,
I have known beautiful women with beautiful forms
Unto which needs and the body warms.
Never, ever but until this very day
Did any woman ever took my breath away,
Until that day, finally destiny came
And Rebecca they said, was her name.
