REBUILD COORG WITHOUT DELAY

when coffers emptied
battered by farm loan waivers
Coorg should be pitied
cashless kids have to waver
mom is often their saver
lesson number one:
fool and his money soon part
bravado fools none
now Delhi is last resort
beg and beseech from your heart

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Coorg a beautiful district of Karnataka State, India has been devastated by rains, floods, landslides. Many have lost lives. Many more are homeless.Roads are destroyed.Coffee crop gone with the floods. Tourism comes to standstll. Economy has been badly hit.
Karnataka State has recently announced waiver of all farm loans amounting to 40000 crores of rupees(6 billionUSD) . This decision has been widely criticized. Now to rebuild Coorg, the state Govt will find it tough for two ends to meet!
