Reciprocal Gesture Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Reciprocal Gesture

Reciprocal gesture

Nothing helps at the end
You have to mend
Adjust accordingly
And treat smilingly

Your smile costs
Nothing or at the most
Some wrath from people
Who see you happy without struggle?

People become jealous
As you rise high and become famous
You are on top ladder
To accept honor

So you bend little
For people
Not to show
But allow them or inspire to grow

So leave them to their fate
You never get late
In acknowledgement
And reciprocal gesture at this moment
