Reconsider Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Reconsider

Each word spoken has a definite reason
Often hasty words can change the season
Careful when throwing silly squibs about...
Thoughtfulness counts without a doubt

Best to think things through and consider…
Sarcastic and fitful comments of a kidder
May leave a scaring wound from the brunt
An absence of dense laughter is very blunt

Cautiously select the words you choose to say
They may ricochet and repel a friend one-day
Leave snide innuendoes outside an open door
Doing so relieves an effort to even the score
