Recourse Due Course Poem by Vision Ghost

Walked into this now empty room and sat down backwards
On a chair as only thing left in this place and look towards
A future not yet set, though so clear now in my perceptions
Sun beams float illuminating the dust unsettled in vibrations

I reach out and try to catch one as the light brightens skin
Seemingly all at peace and now I faithfully can believe in
That memories of so long I dwelled here were all worth it
Now that I so move on to another place of another summit

Experiencing a sense of positive nostalgia in lost imageries
This space I longed to be when at work or facing anxieties
The bed that was over there and the picture hung on the wall
Leaves just a patch where the sunlight didn’t reach the hall

Shutters half closed in this half lit room and I’m halfway
To heading out the door forever and turning away the day
When I thought change wouldn’t be so confusing to me
But sometimes in every eventuality we must let it be free

Mind wonders on the place where we played in the corner
That shelf we never fixed and the stain we hid with flora
Hearing the street outside as of sounds I won’t hear again
Least not here but wherever I end up living in another reign

Not sure what is set for the future though I like where it is
And how I feel with a newly captured heart in such a quiz
Of asking too many questions yet I don’t want to analyse
I’m too lost in the look of her eye to worry yet I tantalise

To ponder the obvious questions of just how could I have?
Done things differently, yet not all, not even so to halve
As it’s all ended getting me here and I couldn’t be happier
So a place far away from here leads my heart to somewhere

Closer to her embrace, her kiss and forever reassuring tones
Away from the life of a road shuttered with too many stones
Freedom within encapsulation is a rare equation in romance
Yet somehow I won’t calculate; just loose me in this trance
