Red, Fight, And Blue Poem by Jon M. Nelson

We're honored to be on this piece of ground,
Because we didn't get it by backing down.
There are things that are worth fighting for,
Even though nobody ever wants a war.

We always stand up for justice and liberty,
And to ensure that we keep our nation free.
We stand up for those who are weak,
And we won't turn the other cheek.

We don't go out looking for trouble,
But we don't exactly live in a bubble.
This nation will stand against any attack,
And we are not afraid to retaliate back.

We always stand up for what is right,
Yet others still want to test our might.
We've proved ourselves in peace and war,
Someday we won't have to fight anymore.
